Prints with a purpose

A portion of every purchase made at The Well Loved Life goes directly to charities or non-profits who work hard to get fresh, healthy foods on the plates of those who otherwise wouldn’t have access. As a non-vegetable-eating kid turned Paleo, I know the life-changing difference a healthy diet can make. I hope my artwork can help bring that positive change to other families across the country. Below are the three charities your purchase can support if you’d like to learn more about them.
Second Harvest – This food bank specifically serves families in the Southern Wisconsin area. They have some really great programs that focus on getting fresh produce straight from fields and gardens to underserved members of the community, educating patrons (especially those with chronic disease or health issues) on how to eat and cook healthily, and working to get both food and nutrition education to children.
Food Bank of Northern Indiana – They work to feed families in need in the Northern Indiana area and partner with a large number of smaller food pantries. They also do a lot to provide education on proper nutrition and cooking for those living in poverty or low-income households and even have a mobile healthy choices unit to deliver nutritious food to those already fighting illnesses like diabetes or high blood pressure.
Feeding America – They are a national organization that supports local food pantries all across the U.S. They have several initiatives going on right now that focus on the nutrition aspects of food charities across the country and are doing some great work to empower smaller food pantries to be able to provider healthy choices to those in their communities.
